About the Role

The MEP Project Manager oversees MEP construction projects for our global technology client's data center. The Project Manager plans, coordinates, and oversees the design, installation, procurement, and commissioning of buildings critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure systems to meet data center specifications. This job is part of the Construction Management function responsible for ensuring all deliverables of construction projects are completed on time.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the review, coordination, and integration of MEP system designs with overall project plans
  • Manage project costs, develop schedules, and ensure timely completion within budget
  • Ensure the work is in general accordance with the approved drawings and specifications.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, architects, structural engineers, facilities management and construction teams to integrate systems
  • Supervise MEP contractors and subcontractors, monitor progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
  • Prepare construction risk assessment and project status reports. Recommend the release of construction funds. Adjust project resource needs and disbursement schedules. Review agreements, and other submitted documents to ensure timelines are being met.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

What You'll Need

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Licensure as either a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is desired. PMP and/or LEED certification are beneficial.
  • Mission critical facilities MEP infrastructure experience necessary. Data center facilities infrastructure experience strongly desired.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information. Convey performance expectations and handle obstacles.
  • Proficiency in Project Management software required. Experience with Google Suite beneficial
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.

Turner and Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $140,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $160,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
