Job Title : Technical Data Steward
Location  : Phoenix, AZ
Duration  : 6 months + possible extension
Rate Range: $30 - $35/hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)

 Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Data Steward to ensure that our Employee Enablement Systems data is implemented, governed, and maintained in alignment with business intent and technical standards. This role is pivotal in bridging business and technology while supporting data governance and compliance efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar domain.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, policies, and lifecycle management.
• Experience working with enterprise applications, databases, and system integrations.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience supporting audit, regulatory, or compliance-driven data initiatives.
• Exposure to Critical Data Elements (CDE) governance frameworks.
• Experience contributing to data quality metrics, dashboards, and governance reporting.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for source systems and data domains, understanding application and system impacts of data decisions.
• Partner closely with Business Data Stewards and Data Owners to translate business data requirements into compliant technical implementations.
• Implement and enforce Data Governance policies, standards, and architectural principles across systems.
