Join a prominent Wholesale Manufacturer in NYC as a skilled specialist focused on maintaining top-quality and fit standards for children's clothing lines. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Design and Production teams, ensuring that all garments meet our high standards of quality and brand consistency.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Partner with various teams to define and uphold fit and construction benchmarks, safeguarding the brand's integrity and quality.
- Develop detailed specification packages for each design, incorporating precise grade guidelines and unique construction notes.
- Conduct thorough measurements and assessments of development samples, assessing them for accuracy, quality, and craftsmanship.
- Lead and prepare comprehensive fit sessions, coordinating closely with Design and Production departments.
- Advocate for our standards through clear communication with vendors, crafting illustrative diagrams and patterns as necessary.
- Collaborate with Production and Compliance teams to guarantee that all products adhere to children's safety standards.
- Provide detailed responses to inquiries about fit, specifications, patterns, and construction when needed.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with a preference for expertise in children's wear.
- Proficient in measuring key sample points to confirm alignment with specification tolerances.
- Extensive knowledge of knit and woven garment construction techniques.
- Familiarity with pattern creation, sewing terms, and garment building processes.
- Well-versed in the garment manufacturing lifecycle and product development intricacies.
- Strong skills in Excel and MS Word; Illustrator proficiency is considered an advantage.
- Must commit to a 5-day in-office work schedule.
