Sr. Technical Designer, Interior Payloads

Location: Everett, WA (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking Experienced and Senior Technical Designers to join teams in Everett, WA and Renton, WA. This is a dynamic environment that utilizes multiple engineering backgrounds. The selected candidate will manage a statement of work that spans the product lifecycle, including supporting customer configuration development, supplier engagement, validating design requirements, and supporting the product through production and certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
• Assist in the development of new design and analysis processes and tools to improve development effort.
• Develop, maintain, and modify interior payload system and component designs using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools or other design methods.
• Provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers, and external customers.
• Interface with project engineering, production engineering, program teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a technical field.
• Experience with CATIA.
• Experience with part or product design or integration.
• Experience supporting the validation of compliance to regulatory requirements.
• Experience with design for manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree in related discipline with 3+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of experience in technical design, including modeling and technical integration.
• Experience in aerospace interiors, materials and properties, design criteria, and release processes.
• Experience with technical writing or working with technical requirements.
• Experience with Visual Basic, Python, Java, model-based design, systems engineering, or relational design.
