What You'll Do at Pega:


Work with a global multi-functional team to design and implement comprehensive documentation for Pega product features. Learn the design and implementation of technical documentation solutions. Identify and make recommendations for process and tool improvements that increase the efficiency and productivity of the technical documentation team. Providing technical content and various other assets to the Pega Community Documentation user base, this group works collaboratively with product owners, curriculum developers, and various subject matter experts. We are service-oriented, collaborative, detail-oriented, and aim to create and maintain technical documentation and educational assets that users want to engage with. This user base includes seasoned developers as well as first-time users of the Pega product line. As the Technical Writer Intern for Pega Platform, you will work cross-functionally to document features for low-code application development environment and case management solutions. You will use Oxygen XML Author and Git to manage DITA content, and you will generate documentation, that addresses the needs of multiple audiences.


Who You Are:


An intelligent, motivated, and collaborative individual with exceptional communication skills. You have the ability to organize and present a range of technical material to a variety of audiences.


Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in related field


Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, (no prior experience required in publication tools)


What You've Accomplished:


You’re a natural born teacher. If you haven’t formally taught, you always found yourself tutoring your peers or coaching teams.


You have strong written and verbal English communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate and clearly present technical information to others.


You are an effective collaborator who can provide constructive feedback diplomatically.
