Your Mission
Lead with clarity and craft. From early coordination with engineers and project managers through final approval, you’ll ensure drawings are accurate, consistent, and production-ready—every time.
Core Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop a team producing detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to capture requirements and resolve constructability questions.
- Approve shop drawings; deliver precise, constructive feedback that raises the team’s game.
- Own CAD standards, libraries, and workflows to drive efficiency and quality.
- Participate in design reviews, offering innovations that improve product and process.
- Onboard and train new drafters in software, methods, and documentation rigor.
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects, balancing schedule, scope, and quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years in technical drafting/CAD design with concentration in millwork and metal.
- Expertise in AutoCAD and Microvellum; proficiency with SolidWorks or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles, materials, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
- Leadership experience and a coaching mindset.
- Meticulous attention to detail; strong problem-solving and quality focus.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Robust knowledge of commercial construction practices.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Innergy systems.
