We are looking for an experienced Technical Engineer Contractor with strong expertise in Java Spring Boot and hands-on experience in full-stack and mobile application development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting scalable technical solutions across backend services, web applications, and mobile platforms. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that are reliable, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build and support full-stack solutions, including integration with React JS front-end applications.
  • Contribute to mobile application development and integration across iOS and Android platforms.
  • Analyze technical requirements and translate them into effective engineering solutions.
  • Perform system integration, testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure application reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to define and deliver solutions.
  • Resolve technical issues and defects in a timely manner to maintain system functionality and stability.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, integration flows, and support procedures.
  • Follow engineering best practices for code quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Support deployment activities, environment configuration, and ongoing production support as needed.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in software engineering or application development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
  • Working knowledge of React JS for front-end development.
  • Exposure to mobile application development for iOS and/or Android.
  • Experience with system integration, debugging, testing, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with databases such as SQL or NoSQL.
  • Understanding of version control tools such as Git.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with full-stack Java development in enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and application monitoring.
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments.

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $110 - $120 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
