The Technical & Facility Manager is responsible for the technical management of shopping center Médiacité in Liège. He/she is an all-round person and will coordinate all technical aspects of a shopping center: facilities, (fire)security, certifications (BREEAM, ISO, ), reporting, budgets,
The Technical & Facility Manager is the first contact person for tenants, suppliers as well as for the landlord of the shopping center for all technical matters.
He/she reports to the Shopping Center Manager.
Your mission and responsibilities
Implementation of measures and management of energy savings and environmental aspects
Supervision of all technical installations on site. Electricity, HVAC, fire detection, CCTV, IT, telephony, intrusion, sprinklers, sanitary installations, lifts, escalators, etc.
Studies and preparation of files for BREEAM and ISO certification and files requested by the owner
Waste management
Supervision of the building
Drafting of specifications, negotiation of tenders, drawing up of contracts
Monitoring of subcontractors for technical maintenance, cleaning, security, waste removal, management of green spaces, pest control, doors,
Recording of energy consumption, waste, creation of files on common and private charges
Responsible for the security teams and the security of the buildings, staff and visitors
Access authorizations, fire permits
Validation of technical invoices
Monitoring the installation of new shops, checking installation files and technical and safety checks before opening (Pilotage)
Organization of the work of the site technicians
Technical and logistical assistance to retailers
Technical support for the lease of shops
Management of documentation, as-built files, plans, legal controls, technical controls
Contacts with the authorities, police, fire brigade, emergency services, co-ownerships
Preparation, execution and follow-up of the CAPEX plan approved by the owner
Preparation of the monthly technical management report
Immediate actions for all kinds of possible problems
Your profile
Master or Bachelor degree in a technical area (industrial engineer, mechanics )
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the field
French speaking, good knowledge Dutch and English
Your skills
Excellent analytical, coordinating, organizational and communication skills
Discreet and sociable personality with a sense of accuracy, team player
Hands-on, responsible and stress resistant
Proactive, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
