Technical Program Product Manager II

An opportunity is available for a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to contribute to building a large-scale global network. This role involves leading complex, multi-disciplinary networking projects and delivering new methods for technology solutions. The position requires managing the end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure changes and upgrades across data centers, working with various internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor network infrastructure build health, customer demand, anticipate risks, and resolve issues.
  • Work with stakeholders, including engineers and senior management, to define requirements and processes.
  • Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects, negotiating trade-offs as needed.
  • Participate in the hiring process and mentor others.
  • Manage multiple competing cross-organizational projects simultaneously.
  • Interact with engineers, technicians, project managers, and senior management daily.
  • Analyze, interpret, and visualize data using BI management and visualization tools such as Tableau and QuickSight.
  • Create predictable process paths, drive automation initiatives, and simplify engineering and project management efforts.

Required Qualifications

Education: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Experience: Candidates must have at least 5 years of technical infrastructure management experience and 5+ years of data center, network engineering, and/or systems engineering experience.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure (network, data center, hardware, software) is necessary. Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with cloud services, networks, and operating systems.
  • Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in hands-on work managing complex technology projects.
