Job Description

We are seeking an Inside Sales Manager on behalf of our client, a leading international manufacturer of electrical power monitoring hardware and software solutions. This role is based in Northern Virginia and is responsible for leading, coaching, and scaling the inside sales team to deliver consistent revenue results.

Location: Ashburn, VA
Schedule: Mon-Fri, standard business hours (100% onsite)
Compensation: $90,000-$110,00 Annually

Responsibilities:

  • People Leadership: Hire, onboard, and train inside sales representatives while providing ongoing coaching through call reviews and pipeline inspections.
  • Performance Management: Set team goals and activity quotas, monitor KPIs, and ensure consistent execution of the sales process.
  • Sales Execution: Drive predictable pipeline creation and monthly closed deal performance while maintaining high CRM data integrity.
  • Process & Collaboration: Enforce standardized sales cadences and qualification criteria while partnering with marketing on lead flow and messaging.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as a bridge between inside and outside sales teams to ensure smooth handoffs and support technical sales cycles.
  • Team Direction: Lead the team in proactively engaging target customers via phone, email, and social channels to qualify leads and identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience leading and coaching inside sales teams with ownership of performance outcomes.
  • Background in technical sales within electrical, industrial, or data center environments.
  • Knowledge of low voltage power distribution and metering concepts.
  • Proficiency with networking, PLC/HMI integration, and industrial communication protocols.
  • Proven track record of managing pipelines, KPIs, and CRM discipline.
  • Ability to hire, ramp, and manage the career progression of sales representatives.
  • Experience enforcing structured sales processes and qualification criteria.
  • Skill in cross-functional collaboration with marketing, engineering, and operations.
