The ideal candidate should have a strong background in project management, cloud environments, and health care projects, with a focus on delivering innovative IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage high-complexity IT projects within the health department.

* Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

* Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, cloud architects, and DevOps engineers.

* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

* Manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure successful project delivery.

* Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management.

* Coordinate with the helpdesk team to ensure smooth project implementation and support.

* Implement ITSM best practices and manage ITSM projects.

* Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor project performance.

* Ensure compliance with health department regulations and standards.

* Work in a pressured environment handling multiple projects simultaneously.

* Provide oversight for a team of approximately 12 individuals.

* Manage large budget-related projects.

* Work with internal and external partners and internal teams.

* Work very closely with the PMO office to ensure compliance with PMO guidelines.

* Communicate effectively with stakeholders and higher executive staff, providing regular status reports to all audiences.
