Title: Lab Support Clerk
Hours: 7am - 3:30pm PT Mon-Fri
Duration: 2+ months
Location: Las Vegas NV 89119

Job Description:
1. Maintaining an organized filing system for all pathology slides.
2. Pulls slides as requested by physician for deepers.
3. Files physicians request forms for deepers/special stains/problem resolutions.
4. Sends duplicate slides to referring physicians.
5. Posts all outgoing mail and maintains postage machine.
6. Scans requisitions into Onbase and confirms all are complete.
7. Assisting other departments with clerical functions when available.
8. Maintains QA reviews of outside path reports and files with corresponding requisition.
9. Returns slides to file when received back from outside facilities and documents the return in the computer system.
10. Maintains patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
11. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager, Director or Physicians.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. High School Graduate
2. One year clerical experience
3. Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the health care field.
