Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Team Leadership & Governance

Squad Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and structurally guide an onsite team of Workday integration developers.
Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous code reviews and establish framework standards to guarantee engineering compliance, optimization, and robust error-handling conventions.
SDLC Delivery: Govern the end-to-end integration lifecycle—translating high-level business stakeholder requirements into precise technical blueprints up through testing, deployment, and hypercare.
2. Integration Architecture & Engineering

Workday Studio Orchestration: Design, architect, and optimize highly complex, multi-system integration assemblies leveraging Workday Studio.
Connector Configurations: Implement, debug, and maintain specialized high-volume transactional integrations utilizing PECI (Payroll Effective Change Interface), WECI (Worker Effective Change Interface), and standard Core Connectors.
Data Transformation & APIs: Architect sophisticated payload logic using Document Transformation and custom XSLT mappings. Manage and secure data exchanges utilizing Workday Web Services (SOAP and REST protocols).
Security & Exception Handling: Enforce rigorous enterprise data security baselines (PGP encryption, access controls) and engineer global context exception/error logging architectures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Breadth: Minimum of 7–10+ years of enterprise IT software engineering experience, with a heavy, dedicated focus on Workday Integration methodologies.
Studio Mastery: Expert-level, hands-on development capability inside the Workday Studio development suite.
Component Fluency: In-depth engineering comprehension of PECI, WECI, cloud-connectors, and raw XML/XSLT processing logic.
API Frameworks: Highly proficient building and troubleshooting synchronous and asynchronous web service operations (WSDL, SOAP, REST API payloads).
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal skills; comfortable commanding technical syncs with developers and translating roadmaps clearly for corporate headers.
Preferred Qualifications
Active or prior official Workday Integration Certification or Workday Studio Certification is strongly preferred.
Prior experience handling complex payroll or benefits-specific ingestion models via PECI.
