Description
Title: Technical Lead – Java (Redis + Lua Scripts)
Client: DELL IT – Periscope
Location: Austin, TX (100% Onsite)
Experience: 8+ Years
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of enterprise-grade applications using Core Java (JDK 17)
- Architect and implement modular and plugin-based systems
- Develop and optimize solutions using Redis (including Lua scripting)
- Work with relational (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver features
- Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and testing
- Drive performance tuning, scalability, and reliability improvements
- Participate in CI/CD processes and automation pipelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of strong hands-on experience in Core Java development
- Proven expertise in JDK 17 and modern Java features
- Experience with plugin architecture / modular system design
- Strong working knowledge of Redis and Lua scripting
- Experience with Oracle (SQL) and MongoDB (NoSQL)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Maven, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a Technical Lead or Senior Developer role
- Experience working in enterprise or large-scale distributed systems
- Exposure to performance optimization and system scalability
