What You Will Do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance systems using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Actively participate in hands-on coding, maintaining a balance between leadership and development responsibilities.
• Conduct regular code reviews to uphold and elevate engineering standards across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals and user needs.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Drive process improvements in sprint planning and engineering workflows to enhance productivity and output quality.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 5–8 years of experience in full-stack development, with strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven track record of designing and shipping scalable production systems.
• Comfortable being a hands-on player-coach, actively coding and leading simultaneously.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment, demonstrating the ability to ship quickly and effectively.
• Strong architecture ownership, having influenced key system design decisions in previous roles.

Preferred

• Experience with Next.js and Vercel for frontend development.
• Background in AI-driven enterprise systems or fintech infrastructure.
• Previous roles that involved close collaboration with product and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated growth trajectory toward higher engineering leadership roles.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $200K to $290K, with equity options of up to 0.5%. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pioneering company shaping the future of financial technology.
