Technical Manual Machinist

Our client, a leading organization in the automotive industry, is seeking a Technical Manual Machinist to join their team. As a Technical Manual Machinist, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the Production and Quality teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Manual Machinist

Location: Costa Mesa, CA

Pay Range: $29

Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM PST

What's the Job?

• Review drawings and instructions to understand specifications of output
• Plan the sequence of necessary actions for job completion in coordination with facility planners
• Take measurements and mark materials for cutting or shaping
• Select appropriate machines and tools, generate and maintain programs
• Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and perform routine machine maintenance

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manual machine shop or tool room department
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions in English
• Knowledge of and ability to use all measuring devices to ensure quality
• Physical capability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate machinery safely
