QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or a similar role (2+ years preferred).
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other technical tools.
  • Certified and strong understanding of lean manufacturing and six sigma principles (green bel or higher).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with automation systems, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and data analysis tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement equipment upgrades and modifications to meet production goals.
  • Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related challenges.
  • Assist in the design and testing of new products and manufacturing methods.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process workflows, technical drawings, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support the training of production staff on new processes and equipment.
  • Analyze, design, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

We are working with a leading manufacturer of full production line of quality, energy efficient vinyl and aluminum window and fenestration systems on the east coast to recruit a Technical Engineer who would support their expanding operations in Scranton, PA.

Your manufacturing engineering knowledge and experience will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes, systems and equipment within their facility. Partnering with another leading European manufacturer you will be expected to work collaboratively with cross functional teams in identifying opportunities for efficiency, troubleshooting production issues and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
