Technical Marketing & Communications Specialist

Overview:

We’re looking for a technically minded marketer who can take complex engineering concepts and turn them into clear, compelling, visually strong communications.

 

The ideal candidate brings an engineering or technical background, understands manufacturing, industrial automation, and industrial network solutions, and has graphic and creative design experience. This person will work closely with engineers, technical experts, sales teams, and marketing to translate deep technical expertise into presentations, graphics, sales materials, digital content, and customer-facing communications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop technical marketing content for industrial automation, networking, manufacturing, cybersecurity, and related solutions.
• Transform complex engineering concepts, technical data, and project information into clear messaging.
• Create and elevate presentations for sales teams, conferences, technical presentations, and executive audiences.
• Develop diagrams, infographics, solution graphics, case studies, sales collateral, digital content, and other visual communications.
• Collaborate directly with engineers and subject matter experts to understand technologies & solutions.
• Help maintain an established visual brand across technical and marketing materials.

Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For

You may have started your career in engineering and discovered you have a talent for communication and design. Or you may be a technical marketer who genuinely understands how manufacturing and industrial systems work.

 

Either way, you should bring a combination of:

• Engineering, industrial technology, technical marketing, or related experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing environments and industrial network solutions; experience with automation, controls, OT networking, cybersecurity, or systems integration is a strong advantage.
• Strong visual communication and design instincts.
• The ability to understand technical information and translate it for different audiences.
• Advanced MS PowerPoint skills and genuine enthusiasm for using PowerPoint as a communication and design tool.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience creating professional technical diagrams, graphics, presentations, and marketing collateral.
• Strong collaboration skills and comfort working directly with engineers and highly technical subject matter experts.

Compensation & Benefits Highlights:

• Competitive Base Salary: $80,000–$135,000, depending on experience
