Job Title: Technical / Non-Technical Recruiter – Education Domain
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Recruiter with a strong background in hiring for the Education sector, including EdTech companies, universities, and K-12 institutions. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of education-related roles and demonstrate expertise in sourcing, screening, and successfully closing candidates across both academic and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for roles within the education domain, including faculty, instructional designers, curriculum developers, academic counselors, and administrative staff
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers from EdTech organizations, schools, and universities to understand hiring needs and define job requirements
- Source candidates through various channels such as job portals, social media platforms, networking, and education-specific communities
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit
- Coordinate interview schedules, collect feedback, and manage offer negotiations
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline within the education sector
- Stay updated on hiring trends and market insights in the education and EdTech industry
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle
Required Skills:
- Proven experience recruiting for education or EdTech roles
- Strong understanding of academic and administrative positions (faculty, trainers, curriculum designers, etc.)
- Excellent sourcing and screening capabilities
- Hands-on experience with ATS tools and job portals such as Dice, Monster, LinkedIn, and Facebook groups
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience hiring for schools, universities, or EdTech companies
- Good understanding of education systems (K-12, higher education, and online learning platforms)
Experience:
- 2–6 years of overall recruitment experience
- Minimum 1+ year of experience hiring within the education domain
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with global education clients
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online learning ecosystems
