As a Technical Operations and Development Intern at Beacon Therapeutics USA Inc you will support a key inventory management initiative focused on gene therapy R and D and CMC development materials at an external storage vendor. This internship provides an opportunity to gain exposure to Technical Operations and Development processes including project management technical documentation and study support.
You will work on organizing categorizing and streamlining biological materials such as cells plasmids and development samples while partnering with Technical Operations Development and Quality teams to ensure materials are properly labeled and maintained. You will participate in team meetings provide updates on your work and gain insight into how operational discipline supports successful development programs.
This is a 12 week internship based on the interns start date. Interns are expected to work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with a one hour lunch break not to exceed 40 hours per week.
This is a hybrid role based in Cambridge MA with required travel to external storage vendor locations in the Boston north and north shore areas. Reliable transportation is required.
To thrive in this role you will need strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks. You should be comfortable working independently while also collaborating with cross functional teams. Strong communication skills will be important as you provide updates and engage with team members.
Educational qualifications include:
Currently enrolled undergraduate student or recent graduate in Biotechnology Biochemistry Chemistry Biology or a related discipline.
