Job Description

The Technical Operator performs multiple duties to meet production requirements in the assigned area. This role may be assigned to a variety of tasks based on business needs and requires good judgment and mental alertness to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Pay: Starting pay at $24.75 per hour

Automatic pay increases at 90 days and 6 months!

Sign-on bonus of $1,500 paid out in two installments at 30 days and 90 days

1st Shift hours - no weekends required!

  • Proficient computer knowledge.

  • Ability to read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings.

  • Strong mechanical and math aptitude.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Problem-solving, adaptability, and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate respectfully in a team setting.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Manufacturing and job-related experience preferred.

  • Training experience preferred.

  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

  • Experience with using hand tools (miter saw, table saw, routers).

  • Experience with finish trim work (installation and finish trim for windows).

  • Basic carpentry and residential construction skills.

  • Medium to heavy lifting required.

  • Training timeline for this position is up to 12 weeks or more.

  • Operate computer-controlled equipment and machines.

  • Read instructions, gauges, and measure accurately.

  • Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment as needed.

  • Schedule work through areas of responsibility.

  • Program, set up, and run machines within the assigned area.

  • Demonstrate flexibility in work hours, including overtime as needed.

  • Comply with all safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures.

  • Rotate to other positions as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Build a variety of selling aids such as corner cuts, option boards and demonstration kits.

  • Fabricate free standing customer showroom displays.

  • Asist with the set-up and tear down of tradeshow exhibits (may require limited travel).

  • Fabricate tradeshow exhibits using a variety building materials.

  • Operate computer-controlled equipment and machines.
