Technical Product Manager Aerospace Systems & Value-Driven Engineering

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Product Manager (TPM) who combines strategic leadership, technical execution, and product management expertise. The ideal candidate will oversee engineering platforms and toolchains, ensuring digital solutions improve design-to-manufacture velocity while meeting strict aerospace compliance and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the strategic vision and roadmap for engineering platforms.
• Prioritize product backlogs based on business value, technical debt, and program-critical milestones.
• Translate complex technical risks and performance data into executive-level presentations and business cases.
• Provide architectural oversight across CAD, PLM, and engineering analysis ecosystems.
• Translate aerospace engineering requirements into actionable technical specifications.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and optimize engineering data flows.
• Lead hands-on troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, data validation, and system remediation.
• Use SQL and Python to analyze data and resolve technical issues.
• Partner with software development and engineering teams to translate technical constraints into business outcomes.
• Track and communicate ROI and value realization from technical infrastructure improvements.
• Mentor technical team members and support architecture, technology, and delivery initiatives.

Technical Requirements

• Experience with aerospace engineering ecosystems and tools such as:
  • Teamcenter
  • CATIA
  • Enovia
• Strong knowledge of PLM/CAD environments and data structures.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI for reporting and analytics.
• Understanding of cloud-hybrid architectures and secure containerized environments.
• Knowledge of enterprise data security and aerospace compliance requirements, including ITAR/EAR.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, or similar technical leadership role.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering, integration, and technical architecture.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders within complex, matrixed organizations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Experience delivering complex technical initiatives from strategy through execution.
• Strong understanding of value-based prioritization and technical investment decisions.
• Proven ability to maintain comprehensive technical and architectural documentation.
