Description:

CTG is seeking a Technical Product Manager to support our client. This role is focused on driving product strategy, backlog execution, and Agile delivery in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

 

Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 7 months

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive product vision, roadmap, and strategy aligned to business goals and customer value
  • Translate product strategy into measurable outcomes (OKRs, KPIs)
  • Own, prioritize, and continuously refine the product backlog
  • Write clear, testable user stories with defined acceptance criteria
  • Balance new features, technical debt, and defect resolution
  • Apply prioritization frameworks (MoSCoW, WSJF, Value vs. Effort)
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders across the SDLC
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives
  • Gather and synthesize customer, market, and stakeholder insights to guide product direction
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and secure buy-in for key product decisions

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments
  • Expertise in backlog management and user story development
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and software delivery lifecycle
  • Experience with prioritization frameworks (MoSCoW, WSJF)
  • Ability to define and track KPIs/OKRs
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or Technical Product Manager in Agile environments
  • Experience working with engineering teams delivering software products end-to-end
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in enterprise settings
  • Experience aligning cross-functional stakeholders on product direction

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
