POSITION TITLE: TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER

LOCATION: Special Education Department with Pocatello/Chubbuck School District Number 25

SALARY SCHEDULE: Rate of pay will be $24.13 per hour

JOB SUMMARY: Position Summary The Technical Product Manager is the primary coordinator for Individual Education Plan (IEP) and Medicaid Billing software initiatives for PCSD25. This role encompasses coordination with the Primary SIS (Infinite Campus) to ensure the associated modules are up to date and continue to meet the changing needs of the state requirements. This position provides support to the Special Education department within Infinite Campus by developing reports and automation, in conjunction with state reporting, Medicaid billing and IEP's

Primary Responsibilities

1. Software Development & Infinite Campus

? Development Management: Implement the needs of the Special Education Department with the Infinite Campus software development team by managing the application timelines, communication and objectives.

? Data Engineering: Build pipelines and data structures within the Infinite Campus SQL environment to support the reporting needs and to improve the automation processes.

? Data Analysis: Develop a process to identify, flag and communicate errors in the data entry process prior to the submission of both Medicaid and ISEE state reporting. Develop additional reports as needed by the Special Education Department

2. Training & Support

? Training: Coordinate with the special education administrative team to provide any needed training that supports Infinite Campus special education modules or processes around the Medicaid data entry process.

? Documentation: Develop documentation for using and accessing reports, data entry for both IEP and Medicaid modules within Infinite Campus as well as process management for state reporting and Medicaid submittal.

3. State Reporting (ISEE) and Medicaid Billing

? State Submission Lead: Manage the preparation, validation, and submission of Special Education data to the Idaho System for Educational Excellence (ISEE).

? Medicaid Reporting: Extract and submit Medicaid reporting from Infinite Campus to the state, speedily resolve errors and improve the reporting process, and to reduce current submittal windows.

Qualifications

? Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Education, or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).

? Experience: Experience working with external software development teams; project management role is preferred.

? Experience with Idaho state reporting requirements (ISEE) is advantageous.

? Experience in a K-12 educational environment.

? Proficiency in SQL in designing and building semantic and presentation layers.

? Proficiency with reporting solutions/programs; Tableau is preferred.

? Experience with automating work and data flows

? Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

? Soft Skills: This position requires the ability to liaise between educators, administrators of Special Education and software developers of the SIS program to advocate and translate district and teacher needs into actionable items. Patience and clear communication are required to assist in defining and refining pathways that provide the best possible outcomes for our learners and staff.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

? Primarily an office-based role with frequent use of computers.

? Occasional travel between district schools for on-site training or support.

? Ability to handle high-pressure periods.
