The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for supporting our Strategic Contract providing Safety and Mission Assurance (S&MA) Support of the International Space Station (ISS) and Commercial Crew vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities
Shop floor manufacturing inspector doing process inspections on components repair, acceptance of hardware, circuit boards, aircraft, etc.
Perform shipping & receiving inspections
Inspect and audit quality items
Review and update ADPs (Acceptance Data Packages)
Perform audits from NASA for Boeing ISS program
Make and determine steps in a RII (Receiving Inspection Instructions)
Make and determine steps in a SIC (Shipping Inspection Checklist)
Generate ADPs as necessary on incoming/outgoing hardware
Maintain work in the MRC warehouse
Work with TipQA (Receiving Systems), HHRS (Hardware History Retrieval System), VMDB (Vehicle Master Data Base) BNS (Boeing Nonconformance System) and in MESci (Manufacturing Execution System Common Image)
Review and approve Nonconformances in MES
Run spread sheets for the RII, SIC, and grief logs
Working Environment
This job operates in a lab and manufacturing environment.
Position Expectations
This is a full-time position and typically 1st shift and a 9/80 schedule. No travel is expected.
