Technical Program Manager - AHE Operations & AI Enablement

Introduction

Join our Advanced Hardware Engineering (AHE) team, responsible for delivering the compute and controls hardware, infotainment and telematics control units, and electrical components that power our future fleet of self-driving vehicles. We are seeking a dedicated individual to lead AHE Operations and AI Enablement initiatives, focusing on operational improvements and AI automation tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent job experience
• At least 6 years of experience in Technical Program Management with a strong track record of leading and delivering complex cross-functional programs across hardware and/or software
• Hands-on familiarity with end-to-end product development processes and proficiency in tools required to manage complex programs (i.e., Gantt charts, risk tracking and reporting, Smartsheet, JIRA, etc.)
• Proven understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI tools such as Claude and Gemini
• An ability to keep the big picture in focus and to provide clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to each appropriate audience
• Prior work experience in a related industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience with building AI-based solutions in the SMB/Enterprise spaces to automate workflows across JIRA, Confluence, Google Suite, Slack, and other productivity tools
• Previous product development Operations Program Management experience spanning areas such as budgeting, organization-wide planning cycles, risk management, reporting (JIRA, dashboards), and process development

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead AHE Quarterly Planning process, budgeting, and various operational improvement initiatives
• Lead the definition, development, and roll-out of AI automation tools that empower AHE TPMs and Engineering to elevate their productivity
• Own AHE’s JIRA hygiene and issue-resolution targets, supporting the team in resolving critical issues and cross-team requests within agreed timelines
• Work with cross-functional teams to streamline the firmware configuration for all projects across different target configuration phases
• Develop and maintain standard reports and one-pagers to communicate program status, risks, issues, and achievements concisely and effectively to key stakeholders and leadership
