Technical Program Manager - Banking/Financial Services

Location: Minneapolis, MN

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager with a strong background in Banking/Financial Servicesto lead complex technology and product development programs within a large-scale enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing multiple teams and concurrent initiatives, with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Project (MPP) and JIRA. This role requires excellent program governance, stakeholder management, financial management, and cross-functional coordination capabilities.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology programs across multiple teams and workstreams.
• Develop and maintain detailed program and project plans using Microsoft Project (MPP).
• Manage program execution, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables using JIRA and other enterprise tools.
• Coordinate across technology, product, business, operations, and leadership teams.
• Manage multiple projects and teams in parallel within a matrixed enterprise environment.
• Drive program governance, status reporting, executive communication, and stakeholder alignment.
• Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, issues, and escalation paths.
• Manage project budgets, financials, resource planning, forecasting, and billing.
• Track program performance against scope, schedule, budget, and delivery commitments.
• Facilitate program reviews, steering meetings, and executive-level status discussions.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination across geographically and functionally distributed teams.
• Support continuous improvement of program management and delivery processes.

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of overall professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Project Management or Program Management.
• Strong experience managing technology programs within Banking or Financial Services.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project (MPP) and JIRA.
• Demonstrated experience managing large, complex programs in matrixed or enterprise-scale environments.
• Experience managing multiple teams, projects, and workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong experience with project budgets, financial management, forecasting, and billing.
• Background supporting technology or product development programs.
• Excellent communication, coordination, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or similar industry certification preferred.
