Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Program Manager to join our dynamic team in Drive Unit. As a Technical Program Manager, you will drive the development and introduction of new Drive Unit technologies, products, and processes, ensuring timely and successful implementation. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage complex engineering programs, and ensure adherence to our development process, product quality, and timelines.

Your primary focus will be on overseeing the improvements to our existing Drive Units as well as launching new Drive Units, collaborating with various global teams to identify areas for improvement, and implementing efficient solutions to meet business objectives. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with cross-functional partners, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

  • Act as engineering program owner for Drive Unit program launches and design improvements
  • Manage Drive Unit build plans, parts logistics, and support robust engineering build execution
  • Coordinate design changes with cross-functional teams and support their cut-in into production
  • Track and maintain key component and program metrics including schedule, reliability, performance, cost, and mass
  • Lead cross-functional teams in planning, executing, and delivering engineering programs for Drive Unit
  • Foster open communication among cross-functional teams to facilitate effective collaboration
  • Proactively identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience
  • 1-2+ years of experience in successfully managing complex engineering programs from concept to production and high-volume ramp
  • Expertise in project management tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and methodologies
  • First principals thinking and a positive can-do attitude
  • Strong technical aptitude in manufacturing processes (e.g., automation, DFMEA)
  • Proactive, highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong technical communication ability
  • Ability to drive improvements across a global interdisciplinary team

Expected Compensation

$112,000 - $217,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
