About the job
A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. That's why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You"re equally comfortable explaining your team"s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead multi-disciplinary projects. You will plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire lifecycle. This includes managing schedules, identifying risks and communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects will span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and will keep all the players coordinated on the project"s progress and deadlines.
In this role, you will design, develop, and launch a new global program to accelerate data center turnover from construction to operations. The process must be built upon a culture of respect, empowerment, data, and speed. Once up and running, you will engage in the process daily to ensure it"s operating smoothly, support high-priority decisions, illuminate gaps, and drive process improvements.
You will also leverage your skills to help facilitate individual site, regional, and global turnover decisions by breaking them down into smaller pieces.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $192000 - $279000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
