We are partnering with a fast-growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to support high-impact production and engineering initiatives within a fast-paced factory environment. This position is ideal for someone with strong manufacturing execution experience, hands-on technical problem-solving ability, and the confidence to manage customer-facing operational challenges.

The ideal candidate thrives in a production setting, works effectively across engineering and operations teams, and can lead complex manufacturing activities from launch through stabilization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional manufacturing programs focused on process optimization, production readiness, operational recovery, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate activities related to tooling, automation systems, fixtures, and production equipment to ensure stable manufacturing execution
  • Provide on-site support during production trials, line launches, engineering changes, and escalation events
  • Investigate manufacturing and quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions through closure
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and external vendors to improve yield, uptime, throughput, and process stability
  • Act as a key liaison for customers regarding program updates, technical concerns, manufacturing readiness, and issue resolution
  • Monitor project schedules, execution risks, open action items, and recovery plans to maintain operational targets
  • Support implementation and validation of new manufacturing processes, tooling modifications, and automation integration activities
  • Collaborate with overseas engineering and supplier teams to align timelines, technical requirements, and production deliverables
  • Track and report operational KPIs including scrap, downtime, cycle time, output, and launch performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting manufacturing operations, process engineering, NPI, or technical program/project management within an industrial environment
  • Strong hands-on understanding of manufacturing equipment, tooling, automated systems, and production processes
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting production-related technical issues directly on the manufacturing floor
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and drive issue resolution in high-pressure production environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including customer interaction experience
  • Familiarity with structured problem-solving methodologies and manufacturing process controls
  • English communication proficiency required

Preferred Experience

  • Mandarin/English bilingual capability preferred
  • Background working with global manufacturing organizations or cross-border engineering teams
  • Experience with automation equipment, sensors, PLC-integrated systems, vision inspection, or poka-yoke solutions is a plus
  • Exposure to tooling validation, supplier coordination, process qualification, or manufacturing ramp activities preferred

  • Compensation range: $100K – $120K base salary + benefits
