Tesla is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead and scale quality management systems across the organization. This senior leadership role will drive strategic program management team oversight and cross-functional execution to deliver transformative improvements to Teslas global quality systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards.
Define and own the strategic roadmap for quality systems enhancements, identifying high-impact opportunities across Teslas Megafactory Texas and prioritizing initiatives that address systemic gaps, bottlenecks, and scalability challenges. Lead and mentor a team of quality systems engineers and technicians, fostering collaboration, professional development, and accountability to achieve program milestones and key results (OKRs).
Manage a portfolio of complex cross-functional programs involving multiple departments, sites, and external partners, allocate resources, mitigate risks, and provide executive-level status updates to senior leadership. Champion standardization of best practices enterprise-wide, facilitating alignment between global teams and driving adoption of scalable solutions.
Oversee comprehensive training programs, change management, and user adoption strategies, serving as the escalation point for high-level stakeholder queries and issue resolution. Direct internal and external auditing processes, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement efforts to maintain certification, for example, ISO 9001, NRTL, and exceed regulatory requirements.
Communicate quality system health performance metrics and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders, influencing policy and investment decisions.
