This position requires onsite client-facing work 2-3 days a week in Fort Meade, Maryland.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technology consulting, or similar in the national security government space.
  • Experience supporting or driving pre-sales through federal acquisition processes such as capture, solicitation response (RFx writing), or Statement of Work (SOW) development.
  • Experience collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver solutions.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with current polygraph.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8 years of experience in technology consulting, or similar in the federal government space.
  • Experience delivering cloud technology solutions for IC customers.
  • Experience delivering large-scale AI or data science projects for Intelligence Community (IC) customers.
  • Experience working with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud and broader enterprise technology transformation space.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and leverage a cross-functional team and their ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, you will work directly with Google’s most strategic public sector customers on large multi-year transformational engagements underpinned by Google Distributed Cloud air-gapped. Driving value by contributing to critical intelligence objectives and national security outcomes. You will provide delivery management, consulting, and technical goal to customer engagements while working with Google's cross-functional executives and key technical leaders to oversee the planning and deployment of AI solutions with direct mission impact. You will establish and lead a strategic planning framework for a complex program portfolio including direct influence over resourcing decisions, planning cadence, and planning stakeholders.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
  • Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders’ needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.
  • Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs.
  • Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
  • Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals. Build, maintain and enhance business, operational, and management dashboards.
