Technical Program Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Technical Program Manager to help drive cross-functional programs and initiatives from planning through execution.

This role requires someone who is comfortable working across different functions, quickly learning new areas, and taking ownership of problems that may not always have a clearly defined solution or owner. You will work closely with technical and business teams to align priorities, coordinate execution, identify and resolve issues, and ensure important initiatives move forward.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and willing to take on a broad range of responsibilities as business needs evolve. Success in this role requires strong ownership, sound judgment, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done.

What You'll Do

Program & Project Execution

• Drive cross-functional programs and projects from planning through completion.
• Translate goals and requirements into clear plans, priorities, milestones, and action items.
• Track progress, dependencies, risks, and open issues to keep initiatives moving forward.
• Identify potential blockers early and proactively work with stakeholders to resolve them.
• Manage multiple priorities and adjust plans as business needs change.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, Customer-Facing teams, Operations, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Ensure teams are aligned on objectives, responsibilities, priorities, timelines, and next steps.
• Facilitate effective communication and information sharing across technical and non-technical teams.
• Help close gaps between teams and step in where additional coordination or ownership is needed.

Problem Solving & Ownership

• Take ownership of ambiguous or complex problems and drive them toward resolution.
• Gather information, identify root causes, evaluate options, and coordinate appropriate next steps.
• Exercise good judgment when balancing priorities, resources, technical considerations, and business needs.
• Follow through on commitments and ensure important details do not fall through the cracks.
• Look for opportunities to improve processes, communication, and overall execution efficiency.

Customer & Business Support

• Support customer-facing programs and activities when needed, including planning, coordination, issue resolution, and follow-up.
• Help translate customer or business needs into clear internal requirements and actionable plans.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Support other business or operational initiatives based on evolving team priorities.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in technical program management, project management, product operations, engineering, customer-facing technical roles, or a related field.
• Strong ownership mentality with a proactive, can-do approach.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented while still able to understand the broader business and technical objectives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across different teams and functions.
• Ability to learn new technologies, products, processes, and business areas quickly.
• Comfortable taking on responsibilities outside a narrowly defined job scope when needed.
• Able to work independently while knowing when to involve or escalate to other stakeholders.
• Reliable follow-through and a strong sense of accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with both hardware and software products.
• Experience coordinating technical projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in customer-facing or field-deployed technology environments.
• Familiarity with transportation, IoT, sensing, infrastructure, or related technology industries is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $100,000 – $170,000 per year

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, annual base salary for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Seyond. We also offer an annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for equity (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
