Overview:

Title: Technical Program Manager (TPM) - Child Safety
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: 100% Remote
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
About the Job:
We are seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Technical Program Manager (TPM) to support initiatives within the Child Safety organization. The TPM will partner with engineering, product, operations, policy, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive technical program execution, coordinate dependencies, track milestones, and operationalize scalable processes that enhance child safety across platforms.

This role requires strong project execution capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Due to the nature of the work, the individual may be exposed to child safety-related contexts and discussions, including topics concerning child sexual exploitation and abuse prevention. Direct exposure to harmful content is expected to be limited but may occur as part of program delivery activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive end-to-end execution of multiple Child Safety programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, risk registers, and status reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities across Engineering, Product, Operations, Legal, Policy, and Trust & Safety teams.
  • Track dependencies, identify blockers, and proactively drive resolution to ensure successful delivery.
  • Facilitate program reviews, stakeholder meetings, and executive updates.
  • Define and operationalize scalable processes, governance mechanisms, and reporting frameworks.
  • Monitor program health, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage risks, issues, and change requests while ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
  • Support technical and operational execution of safety-related initiatives and platform improvements.
  • Document decisions, action items, and program learnings to improve organizational effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Program Management, or Project Management.
  • Proven experience managing complex cross-functional technical programs.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience coordinating engineering-driven initiatives and working closely with technical teams.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Trust & Safety, Integrity, Risk, Compliance, Content Moderation, or Safety-related programs.
  • Familiarity with online safety, child protection, abuse prevention, or platform integrity initiatives.

WE THE TEKWISSEN PEOPLE

TekWissen offers you a broader portfolio of services, industry-leading solutions, and the meaningful innovations that give you greater flexibility and speed to respond to market dynamics, reduced costs and risk to improve enterprise performance, and increased productivity to enable growth.

To keep pace with global market demands, TekWissen keeps its finger on the pulse of change. Our organized approach to guiding a project from its inception to closure. Managing projects is becoming more and more important as we enter the digital era. To cope with the pace that this transition demands, a method is required to manage projects so they can yield quality work, while incorporating efficient use of time and resources.

Project involves identifying which quality standards are relevant to the project and determining how to satisfy them.

It is important to perform quality planning during the Planning Process and should be done alongside the other project planning processes because changes in the quality will likely require changes in the other planning processes, or the desired product quality may require a detailed risk analysis of an identified problem. It is important to remember that quality should be planned, designed, then built in, not added on after the fact.

Capabilities and accomplishments in one TekWissen business enhance the opportunity for success in the others. Put simply, TekWissen's unique combination of attributes promotes success.
