Job Description

Technical Project Coordinator

Full-time fixed-term contract (1 year + option to extend) supporting active litigation against a major e-commerce corporation

Posted September 2026

Want to build your project management skills while utilizing cutting-edge technology to contribute to righteous cases that make justice more accessible to everyday people?

Gibbs Mura LLP, one of the "Titans of the Plaintiffs Bar," represents regular people in high-stakes, high-profile mass action and class action litigation. We bring cases against the world's largest corporations-such as banks, utilities, and tech companies.

As a Project Coordinator, you'll keep our litigation support team on track - fielding requests from emails, chats, and meetings, turning them into clear tasks, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll also get hands-on experience with our database, reports, dashboards, and light automation work, so a comfort with logic, data, and analytical thinking will go a long way.

This is a full-time contract position expected to run 1 year, with the possibility of extension or conversion depending on case needs. Prior project management experience is not strictly required - just strong analytical and organizational skills, clear communication, and a willingness to learn new tools quickly. We'll teach you the rest.

Day to Day:

  • Track incoming requests across emails, chats, meetings, and other channels
  • Route requests to the right people and follow up to close the loop
  • Report on project updates and status
  • Build new fields in our Filevine database
  • Build and edit reports and dashboards for high level summary statistics
  • Run scripts provided by the team to support basic no-code automation work

You Will Learn:

  • Project Management: Managing multiple workstreams and turning them into clear, trackable tasks
  • Communication: Translating technical concepts for attorneys and other stakeholders
  • Systems & Process Design: Building scalable systems for mass litigation teams
  • Automation: Running and applying scripts to reduce manual work and error
  • Technical Literacy: Understanding how data flows between our database, reporting, and dashboard tools

You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative or analytical field
  • 1-3 years of experience in project management role or related coordination work
  • Comfort working with data, including writing basic Excel formulas and constructing reporting logic
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse, inclusive workplace, and welcome applicants of all backgrounds and experience levels.

Most staff work remotely; those near an office are welcome to join in-person.

Junior Software Developer

Full-time contract for a fixed term contract (1 year + option to extend) supporting active litigation against a giant e-commerce corporation

Posted September 2026

Want to sharpen your development skills by building tools to power massive legal cases against some of the world's largest corporations? Gibbs Mura LLP, one of the "Titans of the Plaintiffs Bar," represents everyday people in high-stakes class action and mass action cases against banks, utilities, and tech companies.

We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our team on a 1-year contract. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys moving quickly, learning on the job, and building tools that make a real difference to how the business runs day to day.

You'll work on fast-paced coding projects alongside team members, join meetings to help scope out upcoming work, and build practical solutions - from integrating with relational databases via API to creating user-friendly internal apps that automate manual workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to fast-paced development projects from planning through delivery
  • Participate in team meetings to help scope requirements and break down work into manageable tasks
  • Interact with relational databases through APIs to retrieve, update, and manage data
  • Design and build simple internal applications and scripts to automate repetitive workflows
  • Collaborate with teammates on code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Adapt quickly as priorities shift across projects

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years experience with software development
  • Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL) and consuming or working with APIs
  • Comfort with Python
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies quickly
  • Good communication skills - you'll be expected to contribute in scoping discussions, not just heads-down coding
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience automating workflows or building internal tools
  • Exposure to version control (e.g., Git)
  • Some familiarity with HTML/CSS and JavaScript for front-end UI development
  • Familiarity with sprint-based team environments

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse, inclusive workplace, and welcome applicants of all backgrounds and experience levels.

Most staff work remotely; those near an office are welcome to join in-person.
