Summary

The Project Manager is a role within the Technology Program Management Office (PMO), reporting to senior portfolio or program leadership at Marchon's client. This position is responsible for execution and delivery across complex technology initiatives. Working from established strategic objectives, the Project Manager will help design, develop, and deliver implementation programs while overseeing all PMO activities and ensuring accurate status reporting across multiple workstreams to drive successful project outcomes.

The Project Manager is expected to have relevant PMO experience, including managing process challenges and technology implementations. This experience is essential for facilitating successful delivery and coordinating cross-functional efforts.

The Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with interdependent projects, programs, and organizational priorities.

This is a hands-on execution role with responsibility for:

  • Program and workstream governance
  • Scope management
  • Schedule management
  • Resource management
  • Financial management
  • Risk and issue management, including cross-functional impact assessment and mitigation
  • Dependency management, both within the program and externally
  • Integration management
  • Stakeholder management
  • Communications and change management
  • Business adoption, user acceptance, and stakeholder satisfaction

The Project Manager should expect to be actively involved in presenting and monitoring status, anticipating challenges, removing blockers, managing dependencies, and providing leadership and stakeholders with transparent, accurate, and timely reporting. The role may also involve coordinating with external consulting teams, vendors, or implementation partners to ensure successful outcomes and consistent reporting.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of project management experience
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale, complex projects
  • Training and practical experience with Agile methodologies
  • Experience implementing or deploying AI-related solutions or tools
  • Understanding of AI technologies and their business impact

Leadership

  • Strong leadership presence and initiative
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely convey ideas
  • Experience facilitating project meetings and holding team members accountable for deliverables, timelines, and escalation of blockers
  • Commitment to accurate and timely project status reporting
  • Proven experience managing collaborative initiatives involving vendors, consultants, or packaged software providers
