Description

Biocompatibility Technical Project Manager I is expected to have a good understanding of consumer electronics, biocompatibility, analytical testing, demonstrated experience in program management and has worked in a collaborative cross-functional, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, engaging with cross-functional partners, and suppliers to drive material selection and biocompatibility testing during the product development process, clear communication to peers and SMEs and help build processes and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Partner with cross-functional team members, and suppliers to drive selection of biocompatible materials, sample coordination and coordinate testing throughout the product development process.
  • Clear and effective communication (including presentations, document traceability etc.) of Biocompatibility goals and findings with cross-functional team and leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience in program management and basic knowledge of Biocompatibility review.
  • Manage and track analytical testing results and biocompatibility assessment and set up a process to track and communicate efficiently.
  • Ability to prioritize programs and issues to meet timelines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Engage with biocompatibility experts and cross-functional teams towards building workflows, processes, and SOPs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Toxicology, Biomedical science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
  • 2 years of project management in a corporate setting.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects successfully and ability to prioritize issues/projects effectively.
  • Basic understanding of biocompatibility and analytical chemistry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional environment. Be a team player. Have strong analytical skills and ability to think outside of the box.
  • Must have program management, clear communication, and consumer electronics experience.
  • Experience with biocompatibility and customer safety.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in consumer electronics industry.
  • Nice to have good understanding of program development checkpoints.
  • Must have science and engineering background (Toxicology, Biomedical science, Engineering, or related fields).
  • 12-month assignment with potential extension.
  • Must be okay with face pace environment managing multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
