Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled Technical Project Manager (TPM) to bridge the gap between our corporate IT infrastructure and industrial Operational Technology (OT) systems. Based out of our Las Vegas office, you will manage complex, cross-functional projects that deploy, integrate, and secure technology across both office environments and rugged field operations.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing technical deployments in heavy industries such as mining, construction, or oil & gas, and is comfortable transitioning seamlessly from the boardroom to active, industrial field sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Project Delivery: Manage the planning, execution, and closure of complex IT/OT projects, ensuring deliverables are on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • IT/OT Convergence: Manage projects involving industrial networks, SCADA systems, IoT devices, cyber-physical security, and their integration with corporate enterprise IT systems (ERP, cloud infrastructure, etc.).
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between corporate executive leadership, IT engineering teams, and on-site operations managers.
  • Field Deployment & Travel: Travel to active mine projects and industrial facilities to oversee installations, conduct site assessments, and ensure project alignment with local operational realities.
  • Risk & Change Management: Identify, mitigate, and manage technical and operational risks, ensuring zero disruption to critical, 24/7 production environments.
  • Vendor Oversight: Manage third-party vendors, system integrators, and engineering contractors to ensure high-quality execution.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager specifically overseeing IT, OT, or industrial automation projects.
  • Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of industrial networking, cybersecurity frameworks for OT (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443), and enterprise IT architecture.
  • Mobility: Ability and willingness to travel to remote mine sites (up to [Insert %] travel) and comply with all site safety requirements (e.g., MSHA/OSHA regulations).
  • Location: Ability to work out of the Las Vegas, NV office.

Preferred (Great to Have):

  • Industry Expertise: Direct experience working within the mining, construction, or oil & gas Understanding mine-site logistics and operations is a massive plus.
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile/Scrum (CSM, PMI-ACP), or equivalent project management certifications.
  • Safety Credentials: Existing MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) certification is a strong advantage.
