Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting Direct Hire opportunity for a Technical Project Manager with our client in Pasadena, California.
Job Responsibilities:
Own project execution end-to-end for technical programs supporting satellite and defense industry customers
Develop and maintain project schedules and set internal and external milestones using Microsoft Project
Scope and manage project budget and cost performance
Identify and coordinate internal resources to complete project tasks
Manage subcontractor relationships and deliverables
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, for both external customers and internal leadership
Manage meeting agendas and action items, from status meetings through design reviews
Track and report progress to external customers and internal leadership.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related discipline required
At least 3 years of relevant project management experience
Experience managing complex technical projects, ideally including large satellite programs
Experience working with major defense sector clients/contractors
Strong cost management and vendor/subcontractor management experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
