Job Description:

Role Purpose:
  • Interpret business requirements and translate them into Decisioning solutions
  • Intake requirements from business units and convert into decisioning logic for customer offers
  • Test changes to decisioning logic/strategy
  • Interface with development teams regarding requirements and defect fixes
  • Act as the business stakeholder when working with IT

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teammates to identify process improvements for Pega decisioning platform and governance
  • Maintain process flow documentation for decisioning logic changes (SharePoint, Asana)
  • Consolidate and present information to senior management clearly and concisely
  • Communicate business requirements to Technology teams and assess technical delivery alignment
  • Execute testing of decisioning system changes (UAT)

Other Responsibilities
  • Translate Marketing offer strategy into decisioning logic based on customer attributes and intent
  • Develop and build decisioning logic to meet Marketing requirements
  • Document and maintain standards for ongoing decisioning logic changes
  • Create test cases for Marketing offer strategy iterations
  • Execute and validate test cases (UAT and Regression), identify defects, and investigate failures
  • Maintain and execute regression testing to ensure consistent quality
  • Create PowerPoint documentation to explain project changes to business stakeholders

Required Qualifications & Education
  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of Marketing Technology or relevant Technical experience
  • Strong knowledge of Pega CDH (v23 or greater)
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills (qualitative & quantitative)
  • Familiarity with marketing database, digital, and orchestration technologies (Adobe, Pega, Unica)
  • Experience with SQL, SAS, or similar data analysis languages
  • Background in programming concepts and languages (C, Java, PHP)
  • Experience with Retail or Call Center CRM systems (Oracle, Salesforce, Clarify)
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding XML transactions
  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Experience creating and documenting business requirements
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Customer Care, Finance, IT)
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and design solutions
  • Ability to manage heavy workload and adapt to change
  • Excellent communication skills tailored to different audiences
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Occasional travel required (up to 5%)
