Position Summary
The Technical Project Manager (Retail Domain) will drive digital transformation initiatives across e-commerce, mobile applications, and omnichannel platforms, while also modernizing store operations technology such as POS, inventory management, and workforce systems. This role ensures seamless integration of customer-facing digital experiences with back-end retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Retail Transformation: Lead projects involving e-commerce platforms, mobile apps, and omnichannel customer engagement solutions.
Store Operations Technology: Manage implementation and upgrades of POS systems, inventory management tools, and workforce scheduling solutions.
Omnichannel Integration: Ensure smooth connectivity between online and offline channels, enabling unified customer journeys.
Customer Experience Enhancement: Deploy technologies that improve personalization, checkout speed, and loyalty program engagement.
System Architecture: Oversee technical design and integration of retail systems with ERP, CRM, and analytics platforms.
Agile Delivery: Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to accelerate deployments and iterative improvements.
Vendor
Partner Management: Coordinate with technology providers, consultants, and third-party service partners.
Risk
Compliance: Ensure adherence to PCI DSS, GDPR, and data security standards across digital and store systems.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
Experience: 5+ years in technical project management, with proven expertise in e-commerce, mobile apps, and retail operations systems.
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications preferred.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of ERP, POS, retail analytics, cloud platforms, APIs, and integration tools.
