Description
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with deep expertise in SAP integrations, particularly within the SAP S/4HANA (Sourcing and procurement) module. The ideal candidate will have successfully managed large-scale, national rollouts of SAP MM systems across retail store networks in the United States. A background in the telecommunications industry is strongly preferred. In this role, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex SAP MM projects, ensuring seamless integration and adoption within a retail environment. Your ability to manage cross-functional teams, align stakeholders, and deliver results will be critical to the role's success.
You are your team's SME when it comes to SAP, they need support explaining how business processes align with the SAP build, and if they don't align, you need to call it out. Identify gaps and facilitate communication.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end project management for SAP MM integrations, with a focus on national rollouts across retail store networks.
Collaborate with SAP consultants, IT teams, and business stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other business systems, addressing dependencies and potential challenges.
Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful execution.
Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and external partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
Provide clear and regular updates to senior leadership on project status, key milestones, and potential roadblocks.
Ensure compliance with industry best practices, organizational standards, and regulatory requirements.
Drive post-deployment support, training, and performance analysis to ensure the successful adoption of SAP MM solutions.
SAP S4 Hana MM/sourcing and procurement module- knowledge of SAP enterprise architecture builds. SAP implementation or roll out experience
Retail Background understanding the serialized VS non-serialized article and attributes
Supply Chain knowledge - understand the article life cycle - create/purchase/GR/sell
Business Process- ability to identify Gaps
Experience communicating with cross-function teams (business-Technical-functional)- ability to bridge teh gap between business and technical teams
Qualifications Required :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of technical project management experience with a strong focus on SAP implementations and integrations.
Expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) module, including configuration, functionality, and integration points.
Proven experience managing national SAP MM rollouts in retail environments.
Familiarity with supply chain processes, procurement, inventory management, and related business functions.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
Preferred :
Telecommunications industry experience.
Certifications such as PMP, SAP Certified Application Associate Procurement with SAP MM, or equivalent could be a plus
