Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Job Summary

Seeking a Technical Project Manager with a strong Mechanical Engineering background and experience in semiconductor capital equipment, VAVE, and cost reduction. The ideal candidate should have experience leading cross-functional technical projects and driving cost-reduction initiatives within the semiconductor equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities

Identify cost reduction and VAVE opportunities through costed BOM and system-level analysis.

Develop and present cost-saving opportunities, should-cost analysis, and MCOS/TCOS savings to stakeholders and executive-level audiences.

Perform technical validation through design reviews, calculations, and system-level impact analysis.

Lead supplier cost negotiations and support implementation of cost-reduction designs in high-volume production.

Lead cross-functional teams across Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Marketing, and Supply Chain.

Manage technical projects, risks, timelines, and deliverables while driving cost-reduction initiatives to completion.

Required Skills

Strong Technical Project Management experience with a Mechanical Engineering background.

Hands-on experience with VAVE, cost reduction, costed BOM, and should-cost analysis.

Experience with semiconductor equipment / semiconductor capital equipment and the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem.

Experience with supplier cost negotiations and high-volume manufacturing.

Strong technical problem-solving, design review, calculations, and system-level analysis skills.

Strong leadership, stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.

Experience with NX/UG, Teamcenter, and Smartsheet.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.

B.Tech qualification preferred.
