As a Technical Recruiter (Contract-to-Hire), you'll have a direct hand in building the teams that make this possible. You will help shape a high-growth, high-impact organization by hiring the people engineering the future of space security.

In this role, you will partner with deeply technical leaders, hire exceptional engineering talent, and influence processes that scale. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity located in our Long Beach, CA office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own the full-cycle recruiting process with a focus on strong hiring manager partnership, transparent communication, and effective candidate advocacy. • Source and engage top talent across a wide range of technical disciplines including mechanical, electrical, test, software, production, operations, and more. • Deliver an exemplary candidate experience from initial outreach through offer negotiation and close. • Build and nurture pipelines of exceptional passive talent to support current and future growth. • Maintain high-quality ATS data and continuously drive process excellence, meeting or exceeding SLAs without compromising quality. • Provide consistent, accurate hiring progress updates - including executive-level reporting. • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Security, People, and other teams on initiatives such as process optimization, reporting, interview training, university relations, and talent marketing. • Act as a brand ambassador, representing True Anomaly at career fairs, recruiting events, and networking opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
4-7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience. Strong track record filling technical or engineering roles while meeting or surpassing hiring goals. Proven ability to manage competing priorities, typically 10-15+ open roles concurrently. Experience using data and insights to inform hiring decisions and guide stakeholders. A demonstrated commitment to excellent service for candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners. Highly organized with a bias for action; comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, concise updates. Process-minded and proactive about identifying opportunities to streamline and improve. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
PREferred QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a high-growth technology or product-focused startup; aerospace, defense, or national security experience is a plus. Experience hiring cyber security or other security-sensitive technical roles. Familiarity hiring DoD-cleared talent (Secret or Top Secret). Experience collaborating with sourcing partners. Prior experience with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and/or GEM.
COMPENSATION
Hourly Rate: $50-$70/hr
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Work Location: While we observe a hybrid work environment, you will need to be onsite as the business needs require. On an average week, you can expect to spend at least 3 days per week in office at our Gravity Works office in Long Beach, CA.
Travel: Occasional travel to our other office locations and for hiring events.
Work environment: Standard office, working at a desk or in a production factory.
