Roles & Responsibilities
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned requisitions, partnering with hiring managers to understand role requirements, project needs, and hiring priorities
• Recruit for technical, engineering, inspection, auditing, consulting, project management, and project-based positions supporting domestic and international operations
• Develop a strong understanding of PPI's services, client requirements, technical disciplines, and industry certifications to effectively assess candidate qualifications
• Create and update job postings across multiple platforms, ensuring compliance with internal standards and branding guidelines
• Source and attract candidates using job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, professional networks, industry associations, direct outreach, databases, and other sourcing channels
• Build and maintain pipelines of inspectors, engineers, auditors, consultants, project coordinators, quality professionals, and other specialized technical talent
• Screen and assess applicants through resume reviews, phone screens, interviews, and qualification assessments prior to presenting candidates to hiring managers
• Evaluate candidate experience, certifications, technical skills, and competency against position and client requirements
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams as needed
• Prepare candidate summaries, resumes, and supporting documentation for hiring manager and client review
• Support offer development, candidate negotiations, and onboarding coordination to ensure a positive candidate experience
• Partner with operational leaders to forecast staffing needs and develop proactive recruiting strategies for anticipated workforce demands
• Develop and maintain relationships with qualified candidates to support future hiring initiatives and long-term workforce planning
• Attend industry events, networking functions, job fairs, recruiting campaigns, and professional association meetings to expand candidate networks and promote PPI's employer brand
• Provide hiring managers with labor market intelligence, compensation trends, talent availability insights, and recruiting recommendations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Track recruiting activity, candidate status, sourcing effectiveness, and recruiting metrics
• Contribute to process improvements, recruiting initiatives, and special projects as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, customer requirements, and recruiting best practices
Competency
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of proven full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates for technical, engineering, industrial, or professional service roles
• Experience recruiting within engineering, inspection, consulting, energy, industrial services, manufacturing, construction, or project-based environments preferred
• Experience using sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ATS platforms, CRM systems, and similar recruiting technologies
• Strong sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills
• Demonstrated success identifying and engaging passive candidates through direct recruiting and networking efforts
• Knowledge of technical certifications and qualifications such as API, ASNT, AWS, AMPP/NACE, ISO, OSHA, or similar industry credentials preferred
• Understanding of project-based staffing models, contingent workforce recruiting, contractor recruiting, and direct-hire recruiting strategies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer service and relationship-building orientation
• Ability to effectively consult with hiring managers and operational leaders regarding recruiting strategies and workforce planning
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data management
• Proficiency with ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments and business functions
