Identify and develop business opportunities in aerospace manufacturing and advanced composites; maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand Client's capabilities in design, prototypes, assembly jigs and turnkey production lines.
Present technical solutions - composite moulds, tooling, robotic production lines and custom systems - highlighting benefits for aerospace customers.
Prepare and manage RFQs, proposals, NDAs, statements of work and compliance documents; coordinate contract negotiation and documentation.
Coordinate with compliance officers to ensure ITAR/export control requirements are met; manage controlled information workflows and recordkeeping.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities; identify opportunities for new offerings.
Attend trade shows, conferences and events to promote Client's aerospace solutions and expand the network..
Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions and compliance documentation; travel domestically (and occasionally internationally) as required.
Requirements:
2–3 years of experience in technical sales, business development or sales support within aerospace, defense or industrial manufacturing.
Familiarity with export control regulations (ITAR) and capability to work in controlled environments.
Preferred:
Experience with composite materials, tooling or advanced manufacturing for aerospace applications.
Exposure to automation systems, robotic manufacturing, Thermoset and Thermoplastic composite technologies such as PPS/PEEK.
Existing network within U.S. aerospace OEMs or defense contractors; experience in mid sized manufacturing environments.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, materials) or related field.
