Job Description
A manufacturer of lighting products located in Trevose, PA is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team. This person will be support the National Sales Managers' efforts through technical training, developing technical documentation and assisting with customer needs. You will build excellent client relationships and drive sales results. This position works very closely and supports the National Sales Managers. Duties include: Learn full product line and capabilities to become a technical expert in the lighting industry controls and inverters; Create and/or revise technical support documentation; Handle customer inquiries regarding technical issues including designs and layouts; Transfer industry, technical, and product knowledge to customers, sales representatives and employees; Develop standard presentations, sales support materials and certified AIA training programs; Assist in the development of formal sales proposals. Job requirements: BS/BA degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent work experience; Mechanical/technical aptitude. Familiarity with lighting controls; 3+ years of technical sales experience. #IND
