Description

  • Drive new business development activities throughout Richmond, Virginia and assigned territories.
  • Develop and execute territory growth plans to increase revenue and market share.
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing customers and strategic accounts.
  • Prospect industrial facilities, electrical contractors, distributors, and power industry customers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations.
  • Provide application support and technical guidance to customers.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and convert prospects into long-term clients.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners to accelerate product adoption.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through effective opportunity management.
  • Track customer activity, opportunities, and forecasts within the CRM system.
  • Deliver quota achievement through a consultative, value-based sales approach.
  • Represent the company at customer visits, industry events, and field demonstrations.

Profile

  • Proven success in technical sales, industrial sales, or business development.
  • Experience selling industrial electrical, connectivity, tooling, power distribution, automation, or related products.
  • Strong new business development and prospecting skills.
  • A hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to win new customers.
  • Experience managing a sales territory and developing growth strategies.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to explain complex solutions to customers.
  • Strong presentation and product demonstration skills.
  • Experience working with distributors, manufacturers, contractors, or industrial end users.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivation, resilience, and the ability to work independently in a field-based environment.

Job Offer

  • Base salary: $80,000 - $130,000
  • Target annual bonus: $25,000
