Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead early-stage customer engagements to understand business drivers, operational challenges, sustainability objectives, and infrastructure needs.
  • Develop integrated energy and infrastructure solution concepts aligned with customer objectives and NextEra Energys capabilities.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and strategic workshops with commercial, industrial, utility, and public sector customers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, development, origination, commercial, transmission, storage, renewable generation, distributed energy resources, hydrogen, carbon solutions, and other internal subject matter experts.
  • Manage customer engagements from initial qualification through solution development and transition to commercial execution teams.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate customer projects by leveraging NextEra Energys diverse portfolio of energy solutions.
  • Support the development of conceptual project scopes, technical approaches, implementation strategies, and customer-facing deliverables.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for executive and technical customer audiences.
  • Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to foster long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory developments, and customer priorities to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Capture customer insights and market intelligence to inform future solution development and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to prioritize opportunities and advance high-value customer engagements.
  • Support executive presentations, customer workshops, and strategic planning sessions

Preffered Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Energy Systems, Economics, or a related STEM field; Masters degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the energy industry in technical consulting, customer solutions, business development, project development, engineering, strategy, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Commercial & Industrial customers, utilities, municipalities, or other large energy consumers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of energy infrastructure, decarbonization strategies, distributed energy resources, renewable energy, storage, grid modernization, or related technologies.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to synthesize technical information into customer-focused business solutions.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience leading customer-facing engagements and executive presentations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM or project management tools.
  • Willingness to relocate to or work from NextEra Energy Headquarters in Juno Beach, FL.
