Technical Sales Manager - MAXXDRIVE (Central Sales Region)

Summary:

The Technical Sales Manager - MAXXDRIVE, will lead the NORD sales team in growing sales of the MAXXDRIVE product line. They will utilize their technical expertise and sales experience to generate new business opportunities, convert large industrial gear target accounts, and drive specification at key end user and OEM customers. This person will work closely with the MAXXDRIVE engineering team, local District Sales Managers, and Key Markets Team on a day-to-day basis and to align our strategic initiatives

Description:

• · Lead all MAXXDRIVE sales activities within an assigned sales region or otherwise directed by Manager of Strategic Products - MAXXDRIVE. Grow MAXXDRIVE sales through development and conversion of target accounts.

This includes:

• Developing and implementing a regional MAXXDRIVE sales strategy.
• Individually researching, qualifying, and developing target accounts.
• Generating sales activity individually, including cold calls through closing the initial order.
• Selection, pricing, and quotations of MAXXDRIVE products.
• Understanding the MAXXDRIVE competitive advantages as it relates to the IGU market.
• Giving pre-sale selection and application assistance for MAXXDRIVE products.

o Supporting Nord District Sales Manager with MAXXDRIVE related activities.

• Coordinating with District Sales Managers and MAXXDRIVE engineering team as required.

• Utilizing myNORD, NordCAD, NORDCalc, AEP, SAP, and Lucky Bag programs.

• · Preparation of annual sales business plans and implementation of those plans.

• · Utilize CRM per our standard work guidelines to manage new business opportunities.

• · Maintain a high level of ethics in customer dealings and to protect the interests of the company in any commercial dealings and transactions entered.

• · Provide regular and consistent feedback to the Manager of Strategic Products - MAXXDRIVE regarding progress on key target account, territory sales activities, and customer concerns.

• · Provide input into the creation of the overall company strategy and identify ways to provide strategic advantages for NORD Gear in the marketplace.

• Education: 4-year Engineering Degree Preferred

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in large industrial gear drive market required.
